The bulk of the data we provide comes from iTunes.  So the most current data we can provide you will be based on the most current backup from the child's device into iTunes.  

You should verify the following options are all setup properly in your own iTunes app.

Please take note there may be an iCloud backup date and time, and there may also be an iTunes backup date and time.  In this case, we care about the iTunes backup date and time as shown below.

Please open the iTunes app.  Below is the icon on my Windows computer.

Then choose the device you wish to check.  Please note you may have several options depending on the number of devices with backups in this computer.  Please note all devices must be on the same user profile or login.

On right side of the screen, about a third down, you will see the image below.  This date will show us the date/time of the last backup.

Please take note of the additional arrows in the images above.  They will help you verify the setting for the Wi-Fi backup are enabled to allow the Backup On Demand.

In addition, you should set iTunes to sync your iOS device over Wi-Fi

Open iTunes. Make sure that you have the latest version.

Use the USB cable that came with your iOS device to connect it to your computer.
In iTunes, find and then click your iOS device.

On the Summary tab, select "Sync with this [device] over Wi-Fi."

Click Apply, then disconnect the USB cable.

Choose the items that you want to sync, then click sync.

When the computer and the iOS device are on the same Wi-Fi network, the iOS device appears in iTunes. The iOS device syncs automatically whenever it charges and iTunes is open on the computer. Learn more about what you can sync and how to sync specific items.

You can also sync your iOS device using a USB cable.
